#11 (because the title is to big)

This walk was nice because it was full of monuments that were in popular areas but you never really hear about them because they get over shadowed. So here are my favorite points this walk. First destination was the Musee de Cluny. I liked this museum because I wasn't over whelmed by it. It was small and focused on just medieval pieces. i get pretty over whelmed by museums but this one was easy to go through and I was happy I didn't miss out on anything. I just wish they could have had some more info in English because I wanted to know what some things were.
The next stop that I enjoyed was of course the lovely Pantheon. I loved that when you walked in all there was to see was the structure. There is no furniture or anything distracting and I loved that. The domes in the Pantheon are an architectural feet in their selves but the best part about them is all the detailed stone work. They are truly remarkable and detailed to perfection. These are also very pristine and clean. This building looks like it was built in the 20's because of the color and style of it. I also loved how all of the murals are depicting cultural events of Paris instead of religious. Another part of the murals i enjoyed was how they were broken up by the columns. It added a diffrent element to them that made them more interesting.
The next stop on out tour was the St-Etienne-du-Mont Church. I don't know what I liked more, either the purple doors or the swirling stair cases. This church was just unique and cool. I loved the look of it and I loved how different it was because of the bridge that went through it. The outside was pretty as well because it wasn't symmetrical which was unique.

The Last stop was the Roman Arena. I enjoyed it because it was recently discovered but because I have been to Rome I wasn't very intrigued by it.

Over all I enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to others.
