I was dreading this walk so I wanted to get it out of the way in the beginning, and I am happy that I did. Basically I did it and I understand the Metro more and I have an appreciation for this great system of public transportation that the Parisians have offered. We had to go above ground to see some Metro entrances and that was nice, I have done a room in Art nouveou style so i did appreciate the craftsman ship if Art nouveou that most of the entrances had. It was cool to see line 14 since its the new station. We sat at the front of the train but couldn't see anything since it was all black. Another cool part was to speed by the Eiffel tower, it was night at this point so the lights were on and it glowed by super fast.
The smells in the metro and the heat that the trains sometimes have are my least favorite part. I really like how quite and respectful Parisians are on the train. On one of the trains there was one lady who had to stand and she was reading, but every time the train stoped she would kind of stumble or sway to much which made her loose her place in her book. She started to get really frustraited by this and at one point air punched the door. I think that was the highlight of my metro riding because it brought on some tired laughter that was needed. This tour was long and gave me a headache after a while but I did appreaciate how it taught me about the metro more. The Metro is a great and well kept system.
